Hello,
I'm an artist from the San Francisco Bay Area, California. I've been painting for 45 years and have been fortunate to travel the United States of America.

The Art Language Series
I found inspiration for this series when I watched the discoveries made by the Hubble telescope. I imagined what might be if... life exists beyond our planet, and its inhabitants communicate through intricate art forms. This concept inspired me to develop unique art languages. Letting my audience make their own mind. Ensuring that they engage with the art in a way that is free from outside biases. Visualartlanguage.com strives to provide an environment where art can be appreciated and understood on its own merit.

The Commuter Series
2017-18
I have been commuting for 30 years in the San Francisco Bay Area, and it is this enduring experience that has inspired me to create the Commuter series in my paintings. Commuting has been a challenging and laborious endeavor, especially when encountering accidents that brought everything to a standstill. It often felt like all I could see were automobiles, ranging from vintage cars to the latest models. There were moments when I felt like I had become one with my car, navigating through the diverse environments of the urban landscape. Exploring the world of automobiles in various settings has been an intriguing project, and I hope that viewers will find enjoyment in this series.

The Injected Series 2008-09
The injected series is a culmination of a lifelong pursuit that began with a moment of inspiration in 1987. That fateful encounter with a personal computer sparked the vision of paint spreading across a blank screen like a canvas. Over the course of 20 years, I worked tirelessly to realize this dream, resulting in a production period of 2 years for the injected series. The paintings within this collection reflect both controlled and unbounded techniques, with the "red roses" piece serving as a prime example of the distinction. As the journey continues, the ultimate goal is to fully computerize the process, completing the circle back to that initial awe-inspiring moment of injected paint.

The Experimental Years
1995-2023
During this transformative period, I immersed myself in a multitude of artistic styles, diligently experimenting with a diverse array of materials ranging from plastic acrylic to delicate stained glass. My curiosity led me to explore unconventional canvases, igniting a desire to venture into uncharted territory. My ambitious pursuit culminated in the creation of a singular chair meticulously crafted from a solitary timber of maple wood, fueling my relentless quest to unearth a profound sense of purpose in my artistry, transcending the act of painting for its own sake.

The Early Years
1984-85
This collection of paintings represents a burst of artistic energy, driven by a deep desire to learn and grow. As I delved into the process, I realized the significance of not just the act of painting, but also the choice of subject matter. Each stroke on the canvas was an exploration of technique and expression, guided by a quest to understand not just how to paint, but what to paint.
